The sports data and analytics company has chosen to continue its two-year cooperation with the Bundesliga team.
Dortmund now has a clear advantage when it comes to running its club-wide scouting and hiring process thanks to Stats Perform.
The ISF platform from the data business has helped the club establish a reputation for spotting talented young players early.
"We have been working with the Stats Perform team for a long time, and during this time the ISF has been a useful tool," stated Markus Pilawa, Head of Scouting at Borussia Dortmund.
"The programme maps several stages of our recruitment process, which we have just established here. We anticipate sustained, trustworthy cooperation as a result of the reestablished relationship.
The ISF publishes information on over 100,000 matches played annually along with full career details for over 730,000 current players.
Additionally, Stats Perform has added biographical player data and German lineup statistics to the ISF platform.
The club now has a thorough understanding of the top four levels of men's professional football as well as six local youth leagues that compete at the under-17 level.
